This week we had ice and paint in our tuff tray for the children to explore. They talked about what happened to the ice over the course of the day and if it was hit it cold. They could see the paint change when in contact with the ice as well. #wansbeckprimaryschool

Our catapillars are growing fast now after eating and eating. We are looking forward to seeing them turn into beautiful butterflies. The children have enjoyed reading The Very Hungry Catapillar and learning all about the life cycle of a butterfly #wansbeckprimaryschool

The children all became little 'park keepers' looking after our plants, tidying and brushing up the leaves after being inspired by our literacy book Percy the Park keeper #wansbeckprimaryschool

Well F1 had an amazing day today celebrating World Book Day. Many thanks to parents/ cares for the fab costumes. We shared our favourite books, drew our favourite character from them and read to each other using the pictures as a guide. #wansbeckprimaryschool

F1 had an amazing time for World Maths Day today. We played lots of shape and pattern games, learnt some number based nursery rhymes and did a maths style sports session. Well done to all of you maths superstars !!
