It was great to re-confirm our building designs and plans for the centre and to see, in person for ourselves, that we are on the right track and that the community is excited to be involved in all aspects of creating and running the centre.

During our trip, we gained many good connections & experiences. We visited work sites to learn as much as possible. We gathered info, double checked on prices of materials and labour, and met with builders and suppliers
I want to take this moment to thank everyone who donated to my birthday fundraiser this year! I reached my goal, plus raised another $120 offline, for a grand total of $1210 donated to Innocence Lost Foundation! @Foundation_IL I really appreciate all of your support! ❤️
Yes we do! ❤️

As a kid, one of Fazineh’s favorite activities was climbing a mango tree and spending the afternoon up there eating as many mangos as possible. Fazineh was born in Kabala, the town where our first project will be located.

We personally know how important the water well and medical clinic will be at the community centre. Typhoid, malaria, as well as many other preventable diseases are common in Sierra Leone. The medical system is private, people get the quality of treatment they can afford.
