New in FounderCity: finish Chapter 1, Chapter 2 or the side story, hit "Share score", and post your score card straight to X.
You can replay for a better score. CZ did his run on one life: flipping burgers at McDonald's in Vancouver, building a matching engine in Tokyo, then the world's biggest exchange.
We made him a game. We're not grading him.

FounderCity side story is live: Elon on Line One.
2021: CZ suggests a name for Elon's coin, MarsCoin. Elon: "There will definitely be a MarsCoin!"
So we flew a Doge rocket to the Moon, then on to Mars, to deliver it.
It goes live in half an hour—that is, at 10:00 Beijing time.

@yyx_nb It’s something I’d consider, but I still need to think through the details.
If it feels like a good fit, I might build a quest around it and add it in a future update.
All of FounderCity’s cutscenes have been updated and refined.
Chapter 2 has finished testing and will be released tomorrow.
Here’s a look at the updated artwork.
@happygamerK A desktop version and a Steam release are part of the plan.
I’m still polishing the game, and I’ll share more details in the upcoming development roadmap.
It's been about a month since I first had the idea.
Most of the game's framework is in place.
I'm now adding details and polishing it.
CZ is someone I deeply believe in. A game inspired by his life deserves real care and effort.
I want to make it something I can be proud of.
I've been refining FounderCity's cutscenes with a little Arcane inspiration.
Personal bias: I love that show.
Arcane's blend of 3D animation and 2D artistry takes an enormous amount of work. That painterly look is the inspiration here.
But what I want to borrow most is the care it gives its characters.
A kid carrying water. Years later, a man working late in front of a screen.
Those quieter parts of CZ's story deserve as much attention as the big milestones.
Which look do you prefer: the original or the more painterly versions?
Why am I building FounderCity?
I used to be broke, with very little going my way.
I bought BNB back then, and BSC gave me a second chance at life.
I haven't forgotten that.
Then I read Freedom of Money.
Learning about CZ's early years and everything he had to work through gave me the encouragement I needed to start making something of my own.
I wanted more people to know that story. So I'm turning parts of it into a game, where you can walk through the city, take on the early jobs and experience some of that journey yourself.
This is my way of saying thank you, CZ. What you built reached someone you have never met, and helped him start again. I hope this little game can pass some of that encouragement on.
Your book ends with a line that feels right here:
“If you can, you must.”

Next up for FounderCity:
Chapters 2 and 3 are in testing.
We're aiming to roll them out over the next two days.
Also planned: a GTA-style wanted system. Throw punches, earn wanted stars, and watch out for the cops.
Stay tuned for gameplay footage.
We built an entire bookshop in FounderCity. It only sells one book.
Freedom of Money, of course.
Catch it during opening hours, turn a few pages, and see how much of the story you recognize.
