2026 hasn’t gone to plan 😞 and today is a day I haven’t been looking forward to.
In many ways, 2026 has been one I’ll never forget.
Over the past few weeks, I’ve been reflecting on some of the more significant moments from the last few months.
One, in particular, has changed a lot for me:
👉 In January, my dad, sister, and niece were involved in a serious car accident. Tragically, my sister lost her precious baby at 27 weeks — something that has deeply impacted all of us as a family.
👉 In the aftermath of that, I made some significant changes in my own life, including stepping away from my job.
👉 Throughout it all, my mental health has been tested. Some days have felt steady; others haven’t. On those harder days, I’ve leaned heavily on close friends, family, and a sense of hope.
I wasn’t sure whether to share this. But as time has passed, I’ve realised that while life doesn’t make sense, it does become a little easier to carry as time moves.
I’m sharing this for anyone who has experienced — or is going through — a moment that shifts everything.
We can plan, feel certain about what’s ahead, and then suddenly everything changes. Your world is turned on its head, and you’re left figuring out what a new normal looks like.
2026 is going to look different for me. Truthfully. For now, I’m taking things one day at a time — with hope for brighter months ahead (and a bit more sunshine along the way).

@AlexReyes_9 You nailed it. Constantly balancing brand, culture, tone, vision and team while trying to also build a reputable company is not easy. The resistance on the publish button is real.
You cannot buy success.
Success is earned; it’s worked for.
It requires time in the trenches, sacrifice, and an unwavering commitment to doing.

Investors don't chase hype—they chase data, conviction and a clear why.
Founders:
Show real, grounded metrics (even if the numbers are still small) instead of inflated projections. A modest but honest traction story beats fantasy stats every time.
What actually moves the needle? i believe the founders themselves and their deep belief in the product. Big data is nice. Real belief + evidence is what gets checks written.
