I don’t speak of this often but listening to Nigel Farage in tonight’s debate I must.
My dad was an immigrant. From the moment he arrived in this country he worked hard every day in labouring jobs. My most vivid recollection is of his tired & weary eyes and oil stained overalls when he came home after a 12 hour factory shift. Even then he was able to raise a smile for us. He was kind & gentle & loved my mum with passion. He raised a family of 4 & instilled in each of us a fierce sense of right & wrong & love of country. His proudest day was when he became a British citizen. I recall him with love & affection & pride & carry the lessons he taught me in my heart every day. If it were not for my dad I would not be a lawyer today & in his memory I work hard everyday to make a difference for as many as I can. Immigration is a beautiful thing & don’t let charlatans like Farage tell you otherwise ❤️
Dear @RaiffeisenBanka I have spent 4 months trying to just access our online bank account. My colleagues spent 20 hours checking with you everything is ok. But nothing works. After 40 mins on hold I now have to call you again tomorrow. Is this how you do business?

My friend just passed away ☹️
He was an NHS surgeon, double vaccinated, caught covid, had been in intensive care for a few weeks, and died tonight, leaving behind a wife and three young children 😢
Please help save lives and #WearAMask 🙏
By date of test 41,000 people tested positive on Monday already in England, compared to 35,000 week before. Admissions and deaths rising too.
Is govt going to acknowledge this? Or, even better, do something about it?
BBC political editor stays silent as the Corporation itself & decent, honest journalists come under constant fire from Vote Leave liars. But she got the big interview with Cummings & spent it pretending to be surprised about what he said. It's pathetic, @bbclaurak & you know it.

This is England.
1.This is England: Raheem Sterling, whose big sister would go with him to training and back every day, three buses each way, and never once complained. Raheem Sterling, who called the day he
The Mash Report, a comedy program critical of the government has been axed by the state broadcaster, reportedly for political reasons, and at the behest of a director general appointed by the government. Finally, a stone cold example of what 'cancel culture' looks like.
