A message to my fellow followers (thread bellow):
If I seem a little bit « scattered » in my works (lots of WIP, fews finished or polished works) there is a reason= I’m still unsure of what type of artist I want to be .
I bless artists who have found their way early in their
@trad_west_ Once more time : how Christians would react if the roles were reversed? If it was Buddhists who tried to spread their teachings during, let’s says, the reform with the spread of Protestantism. Where Christians were divided ?
@trad_west_ Christian loves to tell you about how Christianity was persecuted in feudal Japan but they will never tell you why.
For those who are curious , read the 1587 edict of Hideyoshi about the Christian perception of the Shinto/buddhism and the Portuguese slave trade of Japaneses.
@trad_west_ …but because of their refusal to acknowledge the fact that it worked without them, Christians are still calling to spread their propaga…I mean, their gospel.
@trad_west_ …by celebrating a traitor.
Hideyoshi and Tokugawa are the reason why Japan had successfully developed all the aspects that make Japan Japan : a stable country with vibrant and rich culture, who is far more stable and safe than 90% of European Christian lands, including USA…
@tt_ttaa41634614 (…) (even if I’m sure that some Christian regret that the archipelago wasn’t converted by force and by a “holy” crusade back when maybe it was still “acceptable”…maybe even now.)
Proselytism command, only the methods changes.
@tt_ttaa41634614 To resume :
-Islam “loves” so much other peoples and societies that it want to convert and change them by violence and intimidation.
-Christianity “loves” so much others societies and peoples that it want to convert and change them by “love” and “dialogue” (…)
@tt_ttaa41634614 Maybe some Christian will be greatly advised to open an history book and understand what they beloved religion of truth had done on the archipelago before being persecuted…now, the Christian church which is openly calling for mass immigration and “tolerance” is still, visibly…
@TANAKAKAKUEI512 -saying “Christ is king” and “it’s the only true religion” is ok…but maybe Christians who are saying this should study history just a little, especially of the only Shinto/Buddhist country on earth they are trying to change, especially while their countries are being destroyed ?
@TANAKAKAKUEI512 Christians will forget that everytime Christianity interacted with Japan, it alway end the same way :
-first : Catholicism was a vehicle of Iberian colonialism back in the 16th century with not less than 50 000 slaves and multiples destructions of shrines and temples (…)
@TANAKAKAKUEI512 For peoples who are pointing the absence of Christianity as a proof of the declining state of Japan, explain to my why Poland, one the most traditional and catholic countries today (truly a beautiful society) have a very low childbirth (around 1.3 and 1.4 child per woman) ?
@TANAKAKAKUEI512 (…) aesthetics and societal organization.
- and many many more.
Of course, they are pointing the “bad parts” of this people for them : lack of individuality, of course many con because they are Christian etc…
@TANAKAKAKUEI512 -If you read the missionary diaries back in the 16th century, like Francis’s and Valignano’s ones , the same aspects return :
- Japanese peoples are polite.
-attached to honor and reason.
-even the poor can read and are for many, educated.
- have sophisticated tastes of (…)
@TANAKAKAKUEI512 (…) of a degenerate country is called “association fallacy”. Japaneses people as myself will not generalize that because some priests have a reprehensible comportment, Christianity and Christian countries are entirely degenerates.
@TANAKAKAKUEI512 -second : lets compare the r..es and .exuals assaults on minors between the archipelago and Europe/America.
Including the multiples scandals in the church, whether catholic, Protestant etc…
- third : pointing loli culture and some part of the Japaneses soft power as a proof (…)
