@AlanJLSmith@Aalokyshukla@pierslinney It is indeed for both good and bad. Good - advisers will free up a massive about of time on mundane tasks and reduce costs. Bad - it is now possible to record 20 secs of your voice and then use it to say anything. Within a year, your mother won't know it's not you.
@Sjd17@houseoffraser House of Fraser are absolutely useless! Since Sports Direct took them over there is NO customer service at all, no number just a web chat that is automated and so you cant actually ask them a question unless it is on the list!!
@MyMoneyAlive What sad news. I only met Alan a few times but each time he had me in stitches and his stories were legendary. His views were way ahead of their time and he foresaw many looming problems before they happened (endowments etc).RIP Alan.
@MavenAdviser @Adam_Xentum Great minds think alike ๐Read it over the weekend and then purchased a copy for my two trainee advisors. ๐@adam_Xentum. It's going to save me weeks in training time. RECOMMENDED
@MatthewWalne@InspiredAdviser If you really want to go over the top, connect something like this to Zoom with an iPad, decent camera and a laptop. Then switch by pushing 1-4 for each input. Only expensive if you haven't got a camera etc.
@SeanBanksIFA Maybe, but prefer โalways start with the end in mindโ it depends on the context, but short term thinking is normally trumped by the long game.
@philbray73 @andrewneligan@garryhale@laurapurkess Yes, systems and controls may be poor, but as you know every company has their core beliefs. Simon Sinek describes it as their "WHY". I suspect unbiased will say "We help people to find advisers" In other words - we are the commodity and the people are the customers.
@andrewneligan@unbiaseduk@garryhale @philbray73 True, if we are the customers. Unbiased do not see us as customers - we are providers, or suppliers of advice. If a supplier, does not do as they are told -they are sacked. Therein lies the problem.
