With the help of an Irvine resident, @OCSDAirSupport and a @TustinPolice K9 officer, a catalytic converter thief was caught after a pursuit this morning. The investigation is ongoing to ID and locate the second suspect.

Irvine #police presence higher than usual in the El Camino/Northwood area, with @IrvinePolice parked out at #Hoag Irvine. No information yet on if the ambulance is related to #helicopter sighting.

Police presence was stepped up heavily around 5pm on Sunday and there is a continued presence of police in the area.
