Winter is on the way! Tonight, a Cold Weather Advisory is in place for almost off of Southwest Florida along with a Freeze Warning in the northern part of the viewing area. Morning temperatures will be a few degrees above record lows.

❄️GET READY❄️: A Freeze Watch has been issued for DeSoto and inland Charlotte counties Thursday night into Friday morning as sub-freezing temperatures are possible. Wind chill values are expected to drop into the mid 20s across a large part of the area.

The NB lanes of Alligator Alley are back open, SB lanes remain CLOSED (Exit 101 & Exit 80). A semi stopped in the travel lane due to low visibility from smoke. A second semi collided with the stopped semi & this caused a chain reaction with 5 other vehicles.
