Incredible workshop led by the ever inspiring @TravisHowze Many of our members were in attendance as well as a few that attended last month @THE_PFFM Convention. Give Travis a follow and make your senior leadership aware of the severity of this issue facing all first responders
Barrault and Associates was honored to be a title sponsor at the Post Traumatic Purpose Workshop hosted by Travis Howze along with Stars and Stripes. Mental health awareness is a topic often overlooked, especially in the career of first responders. A big thank you to Travis for highlighting that it is ok to ask for help and providing a much needed outlet. It is inspiring how one person sharing their story is capable of changing someone’s life.
A documentary spotlighting the carcinogens that are in our fire gear. Great to see our @IAFFPresident Edward A. Kelly and PFFM District 8 Vice President @jasonjburns1 in this trailer.

The study noted "The outer layer, moisture barrier, and thermal layers of the turnout gear all yielded measured concentrations of volatile PFASs that exceeded nonvolatile PFAS concentrations..."
The health and safety of our members is non-negotiable.

22 years ago 6 brave men paid the ultimate sacrifice. Today we reflect on the sacrifice those men made and keep them and their families in our thoughts.
I recently spoke to old friend and Fall River firefighter @jasonjburns1 about how firefighter turnout gear is made with toxic cancer-causing #PFAS chemicals, and his fight to keep his brothers and sisters safe https://t.co/wWLDcbmoFn
Occupational cancer is now the leading cause of death for #firefighters and EMS personnel. The @AmericanCancer and @IAFFNewsDesk will announce a collaboration to help with cancer detection, treatment, prevention, and patient support. https://t.co/oTCHgg7BA1
