@foxfield We found lots of objects at the beach including chalk, shells and stones. We also ensured our rubbish was thrown in the correct place. We must keep the beaches clean as we want to help the environment and keep it clean.
@foxfield Sandangels, being buried and digging was all part of the excitement today at Margate beach for year 1. The children were asking if we could go there again. Olivia said, 'It's so fun at the beach.'

@foxfield Year1 saw a Punch and Judy puppet show. We were so excited as we had never seen a puppet show before.We identified leisure activities from the past and found that puppets shows used to be seen at the seaside.@FoxfldHazel@FoxfldJuniper
@foxfield we found some tools,huge footprints and massive cards in our class.There was also a torn letter. We didnβt know who it all belonged to.We made some predictions and shared our ideas.
@foxfield we cut out rabbits,hats and cars to make our own slider in Design and Technology. Swayam said his car drove down the road and he made it move. Just said he really enjoyed it as he made his car move side to side.
@foxfield What an amazing D &T lesson.We found out about sliders and movement,then we made our own sliders that moved up and down and side to side.Deniz said it was really fun because he made his rabbit move up and down.
@foxfield In art year 1 have created an art process wall showing the journey of their art.We started by sketching,then creating a mood board.After we weaved using paper.We cut out silhouettes and marbled a backing.Finally we put everything together.
@foxfield Pine class put all of the final pieces together to create their Banks style image. They used their marbled background and added their balloon and silhouette house to recreate the image from UP, based on the style of Banks.
@foxfield#RE Wow year 1! We visited the Hindu temple in Woolwich.We found out lots of information about Hindu beliefs.Arva and Maryam said it was really colourful and the statues looked beautiful.
@Foxfield The children in Year 1 shared food to celebrate the Chinese New Year. We shared noodles to celebrate long life as we watched a video explaining more about the Chinese New Year.
@foxfield Key stage 1 learnt about the Chinese New Year by celebrating in a sharing assembly.Children told the story of the Chinese New Year and they found out that this year is the year of the rabbit.There are 12 animals that the years are named after.
@foxfield@ScienceFoxfield Year 1 saw the chicks.They carefully held them and kept very quiet.Harley said the chicks were very cute.Omar said they had sharp claws but they didnβt hurt.
