@Ramma_____ No I agree with that, especially the 1990 version, he was well past it by that stage. I just thought your list was stating that these players wouldn’t perform in the modern game, when the best versions of some/most of them, probably would. Just my opinion though bud.
@Ramma_____ Fair enough. I don’t agree with who you’ve left out but it’s all opinions. For example, when Forest win the league and 2 European cups in the late 70s, Shilton was the best keeper in the world in my opinion. Could we say the same about Pickford at any stage of his career?
@The3rdFrame@Pras_fpl Yes I can’t quite remember 82, but I’ve heard that it was a great tournament. That Brazil side was absolutely stacked with world stars.
@Pras_fpl It certainly wasn’t, especially when they both played for Utd at the time 🤦♂️😂. Rooney should never have gone tbh, he wasn’t fit and was rushed back from a broken foot if I remember rightly.
@Pras_fpl It’s like anything. My Dad would probably say Pele was the best player ever. My generation would probably say Maradona. This generation would definitely say Messi/Ronaldo. There will be youngsters today who in 10 years time might say Mbappe or even Yamal. All valid opinions.
