Kindness in words creates confidence. Kindness in thinking creates profoundness. Kindness in giving creates love.

It’s messages like this that remind me of why I got into teaching in the first place.

Grateful to get to teach the thing I love most in a way that doesn’t feel like a job.

I really have some amazing students.

💛🤎🧡

The beautiful power of music and dance.

Hadestown’s André De Shields stunningly recites “Together, You Can Redeem the Soul of the Nation,” - the final words of Congressman John Lewis, accompanied by Gaelynn Lea on violin.

This is what we all need to hear right now. 💕

The day that we can finally all stand in a room together again and simply sing — what a GLORIOUS day that will be.

I’ve accepted a challenge from @LearningSquire and @misterdura1 to post 7 covers of books I love: no explanations—just the covers. Each time I post a cover, I’ll ask someone else to take up the challenge. 1 cover a day for a week. @CMDeMarco9225 , you’re up! Here’s number 1:

[Lin-Manuel Miranda @Lin_Manuel]

Gmorning.
You were an incredibly good idea.
Grateful to whoever had you!

Who could imagine that a child from Barquisimeto would be the first Venezuelan to receive a star on the #Hollywood #WalkofFame?

I am humbled to be joining the ranks of those who paved the way for the public acceptance of classical music.

Pick yourself up, and try again! We can’t improve on ourselves if we don’t fail. Learn to find beauty in your failures so you may realize your incredible potential!

Take a breath and be grateful for the moment!

[Mindfulness Bell @mindfulnessbell]

Breathing in, I calm my body.
Breathing out, I smile.
Dwelling in the present moment,
I know this is a wonderful moment.

Gmorning
You’ll make good strong mistakes
Real doozies
Sh*t that you point at all your life, like “that was the LAST time I...”
Learn and make new ones
Overcorrect & know that we are all doing this all the time,
Standing in the broken stuff like
“I see how I got here”
❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Yes! Take a chance and a leap of faith!
