From across the Northern Territory, Traditional Owners have spent the last 6 months mapping water across the Roper River region. The second largest river in the NT, stretching across an 81,000 square kilometre catchment. (1/3)
Tamboran Resources plans to destroy water, country, and our climate with their dangerous fracking gasfields
While Traditional Owners are face to face with Tamboran at their AGM, you can be in their inbox backing them in https://t.co/QG3LoMxVeL
The Central Australian Frack Free Alliance has held a rally outside the NT Supreme Court this morning before their challenge against the NT Gov's approval of Tamboran's 12 frack well project gets underway @EDOLawyers
Central Australian Frack Free Alliance’s day in the NT Supreme Court is here!
A determined, inspiring group of citizens have made the long trip to Darwin, we’re with them in spirit today.
Go well CAFFA and @EDO_NT!
CAFFA Court Case Rally begins with a Welcome to Larrakia Country from Larrakia Elder Donna Jackson. Donna calls on us all to fight climate change that is impacting Country #NoFracking
As the Central Australian Frack Free Alliance gathers at the NT Supreme Court on Larrakia Country, our families and community face an apocalyptic bush fire situation in Mparntwe/Alice Springs. We say BAN Fracking: No More Fuel on the Fires!
8AM TODAY, DARWIN: Join citizens from the Central Desert on the steps of the NT Supreme Court. They've travelled from Mparntwe/Alice Springs to challenge the NT Govt's granting of a drilling licence to Texan frackers Tamboran: https://t.co/lGVoBphJGw
After 2 days of travel this NT delegation have arrived in Canberra. As a full scale fracking looms on the Horizon, we need the federal government to step in & protect our precious water and we will be telling them that strongly in meetings and through music over the coming days.
Four of the five Middle Arm jetties will be used for gas industries.
Middle Arm is a fossil fuel project - one that will unleash 1.4 billion tonnes of carbon emissions - and it must not go ahead. https://t.co/V1ULQezQcf
Tamboran resources claimed that gas production in the Beetaloo will be the ‘single largest emissions reduction project in Australia’.
This is just not true.
It is physically not possible to reduce emissions while increasing emissions.

First time they've openly confessed that the $1.5 billion for Darwin's Middle Arm is for expanding the gas industry. More fossil fuels are good for the climate now yay
It's unacceptable that fossil fuel companies submit Environmental Plans for offshore projects w/out consulting Traditional Owners. Santos’ proposed Barossa Gas Project included so-called consultation w the Tiwi Land Council consisting of a few emails and an unanswered phone call.
When you want to hang at home with your pal, but the NT Gov and Feds are trying to greenwash Beetaloo, Barossa and Middle Arm as 'sustainable', you know it is time to mobilise and organise.

"There is certainly no safe way to frack the Beetaloo Basin or process gas at Middle Arm so close to the population of Darwin." - Dr Louise woodwards
