It’s interesting to watch the Meta vs FTC trial unfold, and I’m cautiously hopeful that some good may come of it. I have a lot to say about this so I thought I’d start a thread, and I’m curious to hear what other people think… 1/6
@mewe We think it’s the right thing to do, and also the smart thing to do. Rather than try to dominate and own the whole social space, we’d rather join together with other apps to be part of a healthy ecosystem where users are in control. 5/6

@AFishbain@SixtUSA Arrgh - they claimed the car I rented had scratches on it though I KNOW I didn’t touch anything, and saw nothing of the sort. Like you, I returned it in perfect condition. I even had insurance, but they’re still trying to charge me $300. Scammers!
Had a really bad experience with @SixtUSA and wonder if others have too? I rented a car, got insurance, then they said it had 3 scratches on it after I returned it. I never saw them. Cost 1200! Insurance only covering 900. Scam time! Avoid this company!
