Seeing how Hori had used Rindou to express the moment and relationship between Endeavour, Rei and Touya’s scene in the past, there’s a HUGE chance he had chosen Rhodanthe here for a reason. Unchanging feelings and eternal memories might reflect both Katsuki’s and Izuku’s feelings.

The first zoom in of the flowers was when Izuku was talking abt how he was feeling, right before jumping on him not being able to save Shigaraki and him giving up OFA. This felt like it reflects how Shigaraki’s death will live forever in him, and how having OFA will remain in his memories forever.

Then, it shows the flowers between Katsuki and Izuku, and one shot of the flowers with Katsuki. Katsuki’s flashbacks of his past with Izuku shows how he never forgets what he had done, and that memory will forever be in his mind. He had died and fought for Izuku, but you can see how he still hasn’t forgive himself for the awful things he had done. And his feelings for Izuku, him wanting to compete and be on Izuku’s heels forever, is something that will never change.

I LOVE THIS LITTLE DETAILS.
