Earlier this week, crews responded to 15 Howard Street for reports of heavy smoke in the area. Thanks to the swift actions of our Group 4 firefighters, the incident was quickly brought under control. Great work by all involved in keeping our community safe!

Crews knocked down a kitchen fire on Bridges St., stopping it from spreading beyond the room of origin. No injuries were reported and fire investigation is ongoing.
We regretfully announce the death of Firefighter Keith Cashman. He was a member of the Fall River Fire Department from 2010 to 2015 and of the Framingham Fire Department from 2015 to 2025. He was a member of Group 3, Station 5, Rescue 1.
RIP, brother. We’ll take it from here.
