I made a 3 minute video explaining my research, very excited to finally share it with the world 🌎
Hope you enjoy it - Its dedicated to all the people that keep asking me what my phd is about ⬇️⬇️⬇️

It was an honour to welcome HRH The Princess Royal for the official opening of the Quad building - our state-of-the-art teaching & research hub for Engineering. She met with academics, researchers & students, who showcased their groundbreaking work, & our vibrant STEM societies
Today we unveiled our latest quantum chip, Willow. But how does quantum computing work? What even is a qubit? Our @GoogleQuantumAI team is here to teach you the basics — and give you a tour of their lab ↓ https://t.co/8ROLn9E2DK
A large presence at #ESFSS2024 in Barcelona from @kcl_engineering with Imogen, Alankrita, Elena and myself. Great poster presentations by both Immy and Ally, and great conversations and potential future collaborations with lots of participants. Fantastic conference!
Since everyone is in Barcellona having a great time and my FOMO is at level high, and since my online presence is very limited these days, I decided to make a comeback!!
I realized I had not shared this picture, taken during IAFSS23 in Japan. With so many amazing people 😍
As a scientist, I've learnt a lot about facade fires since 2015 with Matt, Ben and Francesca of Hazelab (even more learning after 2017 for tragic reasons). After years of research, time has arrived for facade safety to be part my exam of fire dynamics. I wrote this ACM question:
Happy to share our new paper published in the Journal of Power Sources on pyrolysis-based modelling of battery fires in thermal runaway (1/3)

We are celebrating that Francesca passed her PhD examination and is becoming Dr Lugaresi 🎉. Also both of us are fond of Imperial, its new logo, and Foster’s entrance.
interested in a UG internship on batteries? see below for 55 paid summer internships from the @FaradayInst , including one @kcl_engineering with myself and @FrancescaLugar1 on battery fires!
We attended this converted e-bike fire in #ShepherdsBush. Thankfully no one was hurt.
E-bikes are London's fastest-growing fire risk and these fires can be ferocious - it's vital to stay well away and call 999 📞🚲🔥

How to talk about battery safety without talking about fire?
My sketch has humorous take but it is based on 11 years of working at the interface between battery technology and fire science.
Hello! I’m back after over a year since my last tweet. If you were wondering what happened to me… I have been growing a little human!
This guy turned my life upside down and I HAD to take a break from society. But now I’m ready - it feels good to be back 😍
