If England water had not been privatised:
£88.4bn dividend to would not have been paid.
Billions would not have been extract vis intragroup transactions.
Borrowing cost would have been lower.
In public ownership, more would have gone to infrastructure.

Remember that Charles bought Camilla the house next door this year so no one could turn it into a wedding venue?
Now her sister’s being paid for “consultancy” that never showed up in the accounts.
It’s all about enriching themselves. Everyone’s grabbing what they can before the window shuts.
South West Water has worst environmental record in England, dumps sewage in rivers 574,323 hours a year
Severn Trent, Yorkshire Water came second and third.
Bills up, criminal activity up. Still allowed to trade.
Must revoke their licence. Nationalise.

England's water companies have 1,200 criminal convictions.
Fines announced, quietly deferred/waived.
No exec prosecuted.
Regulator can ban exec bonuses.
Companies reclassify exec bonuses as “retention payments” and “signing-on fees”.
No end to abuses.

CAMILLA’S SISTER ON THE SECRET PAYROLL
They hid it on purpose. Charles’s charity paid Camilla’s sister Annabel Elliot tens of thousands, then left it out of the accounts where family payments and conflicts of interest must be declared.
Only admitted it after @thetimes went to the Palace.
If it was clean, why bury it? Same charity that took cash in suitcases and faced a police probe. Public money. Her sister on the payroll. You weren’t meant to see it.

A little rain and the rivers fill with sewage again.
I don't understand why the British public put up with this.
We just let the water companies continue to pollute.
Mariana Mazzucato says Farage and Boris Johnson repeatedly misled voters and still haven’t been held accountable.
Her Channel 4 interview has gone viral after she called Brexit one of Britain’s biggest economic mistakes.
And this is exactly why royal “transparency” means so little.
The Times has uncovered tens of thousands in consultancy payments from Charles’s charity to Camilla’s sister, payments that weren’t disclosed in its accounts.
It only comes out because someone digs.
What else are they keeping from us?

You just couldn't make it up! Less than 1cm of rain was all it took for Anglian Water to dump sewage into our rivers again! This is a dereliction of duty.
Anglian Water and the government must act now, before heavier winter rains fill our rivers with sewage.
It rained....
And as predicted on @LBC with @HenryRiley1 not 48 hours ago.
Anything in brown is sewage being dumping into the environment right now, in real time, anything in red is sewage dumped over the last 24 hours.
"Andy Burnham is considering ripping up the country’s insolvency laws to make it easier to bring key utilities such as Thames Water under public control."
Now that my friends would be very, very good news.

England water industry was privatized for £7.6bn in 1989. Since then
They have extracted £88.4bn in dividends.
Dumped tons of sewage in rivers.
Lost 1 trillion litres of water a year though leaks.
Built no new reservoirs
But now claim to be worth £144bn.

For the last 3 months villagers in Benenden, Kent have had to play daily "water roulette", will their taps work or will they not.
"How many times can we flush the toilet that day? Which garden plants do we condemn to shrivel and die?"
And guess what? Ofwat still hasn't revoked South East Water's operating licence.

A “hyperscale” datacentre in outer London would generate more than 1m tonnes of carbon dioxide a year.
What devolution/democracy? Local councils bypassed, people ignored by Ministers chasing growth.
Datacentres produce few long-term jobs, guzzle energy.
