NYC Councilman proudly rep'ing the 21st CD - Corona, East Elmhurst, LeFrak City, Jackson Heights. Ecuadorian American. Die hard FC Barcelona & NYCFC supporter
I am proud to support Yanna Henriquez for the New York City Council in District 21 to ensure our diverse and vibrant community continues to be strongly represented in the City Council.
Representing my community has been the greatest honor. As I look to the future of the neighborhood I’ve called home my whole life, there’s only 1 person who will continue the work I’ve done: Yanna Henriquez. I’ve known and worked with Yanna to improve our community for over 25yrs
She has the integrity, vision, and courage our community deserves. I know that in office, she will fight for the district just as I have- prioritizing our quality of life, schools, and affordable housing.
I'm not from the city, nor from the country and I'm not even close to there. But Barcelona is the club of my life, the one that made me and still makes me love Fútbol!!! 💙❤️💙❤️#Fcbarcelonahastalamuerte
We were delighted to welcome @FranciscoMoyaNY and his Chief of Staff Meghan Tadio-Benham to the Archives last week! They viewed items from our Mayoral and @NYCCouncil collections, and discussed how we can work together to further grow our work with the Council and in his district. It's always a pleasure to have our local elected officials visit us and talk about what we do!
Thank you to Mayor Adams, Gary LaBarbera, Deputy Mayor Maria Torres-Springer, and Andrew Kimball, for today’s historic labor agreement — a milestone not just for Willets Point, but for the future of New York City.
This once in a lifetime opportunity will be built by the most highly trained and skilled workforce in our city, our union brothers and sisters. And it will ensure families can not only live here but thrive, with thousands of quality jobs supporting hardworking New Yorkers.

Impossible because we all know how many failed plans and false starts this corner of the world has seen. Yet here we are, breathing new life into the valley of ashes.
It feels great to be celebrating a win!!!
This has been a life-long journey driven by my commitment to my community. It’s taken perseverance and the belief that in New York City even the impossible is possible.
Check out @LastWeekTonight to see @iamjohnoliver talk about the predatory nature of food delivery apps I tackled in the council in 2020. Is it because I’m an @FCBarcelona supporter that he only called me “a New York city councilmember” and not my name? Typical @LFC supporter…
