The Grand Sumo Paris Tour concluded its final day on the 14th at the Accor Arena in Paris. For this third Paris tour—and the first in 31 years—the "Full House" banners were proudly displayed on both the opening and final days at the roughly 15,000-capacity venue, as sumo fans in the City of Light cheered enthusiastically for the wrestlers' hard-fought battles.
This marks the second consecutive year for an international tour hosted by an inviting country, following last year's tour in London. In the tournament held on the 14th, Yokozuna Hoshoryu defeated Komusubi Takayasu in the final with a yorikiri. In the subsequent playoff for the overall championship against Ozeki Kotozakura, who had won the tournament on the 13th, Kotozakura claimed the title with a yorikiri.
Expressing his gratitude for the roaring cheers, Kotozakura said, "Sumo has truly made an impression here; everyone cheered for us so much it felt like it was their own country's sport, which allowed us to enjoy ourselves and perform freely." Hoshoryu delivered a closing address in French, saying, "Let's meet again." Reflecting on the event, he renewed his determination, stating, "Receiving such warm support makes me want to head back to Japan and get right back to training hard."

Trump has now used the Situation Room to coordinate the Epstein cover-up.
To Trump, the real national security emergencies are planning illegal wars and covering up the evidence of his longtime involvement with the Epstein network.
We Are Living in the Dumbest Timeline
Donald Trump just posted a photo of a wind turbine next to birds and captioned it “Killing birds by the millions!”
He posted this without irony.
For every single bird killed by a wind turbine, nuclear and fossil fuel plants kill 2,118 birds. Coal alone kills roughly 7.9 million birds a year in the United States. Wind turbines? Between 140,000 and 328,000. That is not a defence of wind turbines.
We are living in genuinely, historically stupid times. Only rivalled, frankly, by the medieval peasants who blamed the Black Death on cats and promptly killed all the cats, which meant the rats multiplied, which meant more plague.
At least the peasants had the excuse of having no access to information whatsoever.
Trump has the internet. He chose this.
@CalumLewis Hi Calum, well if you already have a monopoly, buy back your own stock. And make everybody think life is hard, so much competition out there! So the stock price stay cheap while you do.
🚨🚨FRAUD ALERT🚨🚨
It was revealed by NYT that Donald Trump is massively overpaying for the repairs done to the reflecting pool.
He is overpaying with our tax dollars, then hiring the same company to work on his personal properties at a discounted price.
IMPEACH. IMPEACH. IMPEACH.
#BREAKING: Psaki: “Guess where Trump’s adult son @EricTrump is right now? Well, he’s with his father in China. Now, Eric Trump does NOT have a role in the U.S. government. In fact, he’s supposed to be sort of fire-walled off from ANY U.S. government activities because he took over the family businesses when his father reentered the White House supposedly to prevent conflicts of interest, but there he is…”🙄
Audio from the 1965 Gemini VII mission, classified for 61 years, has been released. Astronauts can be heard reporting a "bogey at 10 o'clock high" and several "brilliant particles" during the flight.
