I’ll keep reminding you guys: I had an accident in 2016 on my way to write an exam and was the only seriously injured person. I was at the clinic waiting for the nurses to dress my wounds when I overheard one of the other survivors telling people that god had saved her by using my body as a shield. My bloodied body, of course.
You guys don’t know how callous and insensitive your “testimonies” sound until you’re on the other side of them. You make your god sound like a uniquely evil psychopath. And you’ll never accept that you’re indirectly arguing that your god is indeed neither just nor all-powerful. If your survival is proof that god is real, then for the people who weren’t so lucky it is proof that he isn’t.
A strange way to talk about human life.
ce tweet est tellement réel les hommes ont trop la belle vie y’a 1000 femmes intéressantes et bienveillantes alors que quand t’es une femme faut faire des recherches bac +5 pour trouver un homme qui t’humanise
i just read someone say “historically, men never provided for women, they simply restricted women from providing for themselves” and i haven't stopped thinking about it since.
This is exactly why you’ll find grown men glorifying their mothers’ sacrifices while having very little understanding of what those sacrifices actually cost them. I remember my aunt once telling me that leaving her job was one of the worst decisions she ever made yet her
lead tampon in me while i eat my listeria meat & cyclospora riddle veggies and wash it all down with microplastic water. afterwards, i inhale wildfire smoke and listen to the serene sounds of the data center built across the street. there’s a flock cam too recording it all
putting this video on the tl make sure you dont forget who we are fighting for. they arent just numbers or names. they are people with lives and dreams and they deserve to live in a liberated palestine.
what doesn't kill you makes you cry on your birthday and even during your meals and even during travelling in a public transport and even during holidays and even during a sunset and even during gazing a sky full of stars and even when you're alone and even when you're not.
