Paris Day 3. Sacre Coeur, Montmatre, Arc de Triomphe, Champs Elysees, Eiffel Tower, and a concert at Temple de Batignolle which had a stunning acoustic and small, but very appreciative, audience! @WorcCathMusic @KingsWorcester
Even I'm bored of pointing this out, but British politics broke when Brexit lies were presented by almost all of the British media as an equal & opposite counterpoint to reality, gravity, evidence & expertise. None of it can be fixed until the idiocy of Brexit is acknowledged.
Just a reminder, as we'll need it today, that politics is not just entertainment.
Millions face destitution, inflation is in double digits, environmental protection has collapsed and the police now have powers to shut down any protest, due to this catastrophe of a government.
Again, what is happening in the UK right now is pretty hard to watch.
But I can assure you:
Everyone in Europe knows that the UK is so much more than its current government.
The UK is such a wonderful place with millions of citizens who deserve much better than this.

I woke up thinking of all the public services we've been told by the Tories we can no longer afford.
Miraculously, in these straitened times, it turns out we can afford a massive bonus for the very rich AND a massive gift to the fossil fuel companies.
Austerity was a con.
The Chancellor has made clear what his priorities are.
A return to the trickle down of the past, not a brave new future.
This is casino economics - gambling the mortgages and finances of every family in the country.
It is reckless, and it is irresponsible.
Looks like goodbye Boris at long last.
But the spectacle of Cabinet ministers rushing & falling over one another to get out of the door, having backed the hated Johnson & lied for him & now wanting to exonerate themselves with talk of integrity etc - is laughable.
Just so we're clear: Sunak, Javid and all the other Tory MPs abandoning Boris Johnson aren't acting from "principle" or "honour".
They've known what he's like from the beginning.
They're abandoning him because they now think his leadership threatens their interests. That's it.
