VeryDarkMan has reacted to the Independent National Electoral Commission’s (INEC) announcement regarding the deadline for voter registration, warning that it could mean the exercise will close about six months before the 2027 general elections.

He called on Nigerians to resist the move, saying that many citizens have been displaced from their local communities due to insecurity across the country, which could prevent them from registering.

The people's arms also referenced the United States as an example, stating that in other democracies, citizens’ voting rights are more strongly protected and registration processes are more accessible.
