Tom Barretts campaign is paying to advertise on Facebook that they align w/ jason aldean. I grew up in a mid-Michigan town of ~1200 people, & listening to country music. This shit is so blatantly patronizing. I'll keep voting blue and listening to Jason Isbell and Tyler Childers.
I enjoy Jen's channel & am heartbroken that she's been mistreated at her current facility. She already has a history of being abused at the judge Rotenberg center. She & others deserve better. #actuallyautistic community will you help share? #specialneeds https://t.co/Vn2xCqkuyO
I've never felt like I relate to the "and then it hit me that he's gone" stories about #grief. I feel like I never forget for an instant. @ the same time, I have experiences like unsubscribing from Medicare emails, thinking "my dad is dead." & it still feels untrue.
As a John Prine fan who lost my dad earlier this year, this @TommyPrine song is so perfect. I expected to grieve when he passed. I didn't expect losing him to make me so aware of time and my place in the world. #existentialism#grief https://t.co/xVGgznuj5K
Pondering if I could be #actuallyautistic. I have diagnosed #EDS which is correlated. AQ is 37. RAADS-R score was 122. It could explain a lot...but a lot of my 'issues' can also be explained by things I've bee diagnosed with... anxiety, ADHD & PTSD. π€·
I heard someone say drastic times call for drastic measures and got laughing remembering an old @Theyoungturks video. Anyone who watched back in the day can you help me find the video of the guy who is from the village of Minerva? #theyoungturks
My dad died in Jan. So I expected the @USAquarium I expected 'the first year' to hurt, so I started the new album w/ Chicamacomico. So powerful, I got goosebumps from head to toe. Not sure I can listen to the rest yet, need a day to process that one. Whew. #americanaquarium
I'm always surprised how poor content *about* blogging is. I was searching best practices for an introductory email campaign. Google results feel inauthentic and almost spammy. It gives the feeling that blogging is a scammy thing. Why are blogs about blogging so weird?
@StateFarm You can't help me, I've already talked to customer service. All you can do for me is request to someone high up in the company that they get rid of this unethical policy that a dead person isn't dead enough to stop monthly payments unless they have a DPOA.
If your loved one dies without a power of attorney after decades of using @StateFarm insurance, they'll claim they can't cancel the payments with "just" a death certificate. Lovely business model, to steal from the dead. #statefarm
@VerizonSupport Feel free to DM me what you can offer to make this right (I'm struggling to even see how at this point) but I don't see how would moving to DM make a difference in how you can help me. Asking to move to DM seems like a way of deflecting the negative attention of a public tweet.
Hey @VerizonSupport, deeply disappointed in how you care more about profiting as much as possible vs being a business that practices basic human decency. My dad died while his (very poorly made, very overpriced) flipphone wasn't paid off yet. I was told we had 30 days to return.
Oh, part 4. All this was after waiting over 2 hours on customer service to even cancel his line and request the box to return the phone. Not possible to do online, had to speak to someone. Pay your workers better so you can acquire more help! 2 hr wait is crazy. #verizon
Part 3 @VerizonSupport because the return was received, now "we" won't be charged "further". His bank account was closed, but you still owe him $99. I don't care about the money, but the ethics of it is disgusting. Shouldn't have to deal with this on top of grieving my father.
I realize the hospice company means well. This is part of their bereavement care. I'm sure for some, they appreciate this somehow. For some reason it literally made me nauseous. The idea that putting his name on some website alongside other dead ppl would somehow matter or help?
My dad died of prostate cancer about 3 weeks ago. This weekend I got a letter from the company that provided his in-home hospice (he was on it just 3.5 days). They were offering to include his name, or his name and photo if I wanted to send one, to put on their memorial site.
I really hope that the @meijer site no longer showing their meijer brand banana applesauce pouches doesn't mean they were discontinued. They are my favorite, better than name brand.
@rosannecash I'm epileptic. Once I was on an epilepsy forum, someone said they were losing their insurance, couldn't afford their meds. Someone gave them a link to a place online to buy it illegally for $35. I couldn't believe there is a black market for prescriptions you can't get high on.
Can anyone recommend a smoke detector / fire alarm that will go off if there's an actual fire but won't go off every time we cook? Don't like having no alarm on but every alarm I've ever owned goes off way too easily. #firesafety
