@levelsio Greece is also one of the warmest EU country, living without AC in summer would be impossible. I m from Calabria, South Italy, very hot in summer too but we have lots of villages above 500 meters so AC was never needed. We are installing at increasing rate now!
We all acknowledge the big improvements x wants through. Thanks for make it possible especially while other social media apps are just wasting our time.
Ladies and gentlemen, it's time to pass the torch and demote myself to my natural state: a poster. I'll be stepping back from leading product for ๐ and will continue on as an advisor.
Serving the X community has been the privilege of a lifetime. X is, and will remain, the most important communication technology in history. But running this app is a 24/7 job and it's now time for me to take a breather.
The app is seeing unprecedented growth in new users & engagement. We continue to break records every month. We've climbed 70 spots in the App Store since this time last year.
And in the last 400 days, we rebuilt almost every aspect of X: the Timeline, the Android app, onboarding, notifications, chat and more.
We also launched nearly 30 new products while protecting the integrity of the town square: becoming the first app to show Country-of-Origin on profiles and mounting defenses against AI bots. There's certainly much more work to be done, but our foundation is stronger than ever.
None of this would have been possible without the incredible team here. The next leaders will take X to even greater heights with @benjitaylor on design, @singhai on core product engineering and @dinkin_flickaa on mobile engineering -- among many other great people.
Thank you to Elon and the X team for welcoming me into the company. See you on the Timeline.

@levelsio Milano was ok until few years ago. Tourism exploded this mire turnover for central cafes and started refusing laptops. Switzerland is still ok...
@koomen Especially ERP solutions are most of the time overkill if it's not a big factory with lots of complexity, markets and SKUs. With AI and Internal ERP knowledge is possible to build something lean catered to specific needs. Have done this the past 6 months and working well so far
@noahkagan Dressing good is never backfiring, make sure to just wear few plain colors and to match them accordingly. With time you will stick to only few brands and it will make your life much easier. I just use dark navy blue and green for everything and is mindless but still looking good
I watched so many world cup but I have never seen a final that harsh. It is ok to be physical but bursting fights even after the end in front of the whole world is not cool at all!
If you are not yet using any screen protector on your phone I urge you to do that! Especially if you keep your phone +1 year. Number 1 reason is that by replacing the protector each 3 to 4 months you get brand new oleophobicity which is wow!
Adding on the ongoing AC and Europe debate, I m just back from a trip to China and I used a lot Didi which is their version of Uber. All cars are mostly electric and their AC is set to a high temp and low fan speed. I guess is to save battery but it was hot outside so not nice!
@jitsegroen@levelsio In Italy the main problem is that not everyone can afford AC. Installing it is expensive and electricity is expensive. Older people is big cities are the ones most affected. 90% of Italians wouldn't mind of climate bullshits but too many can't afford in a country where we need it
I'm trying to use more Gemini also for image generation but still i get always better results with ChatGPT. Or at least I get the result I'm looking for. Seems that ChatGPT understand me much more than Gemini.
Am I the only one?
I m not a English native so my pronunciation is not perfect but @GeminiApp can never get correctly what I say while @ChatGPTapp is always right. Anyone experiencing the same?
I have been in the most iconic malls in Asia but nothing bets shopping for luxury brands in famous streets all over European capitals. Zurich Banhofstrasse is one of my fav! Malls are nice and sparkling but streets are on a different league. Do you agree?
I am stunned at the amount of good and affordable food that you can find at Taipei airport. I have been to likely 100+ airports all over the world and Taipei is top one for food. Especially T2.
Following levelsio since a year and he genuinely tries to help people make money every other tweet. Never met him irl but I bet he is a super great guy. Still a lot of people try to debate and discredit when he tries to help.
Most major AI models now are openly available for free
Or commercially available for a small amount of money per generation (like Flux) for literally everyone
You don't need to spend $100M to train your own AI model to build an AI company today
Most money is in making a user friendly interface that ties all the models together and solves people's problems
Sometimes I am surprised by how some common products that we have in the EU are not so common in the USA. The other day I heard @thesamparr in his pod being surprised by the 2-in-1 washer and dryer machines that are becoming more popular in the USA, which have been a major hit in the EU for a decade. btw, I totally agree with him when he says that we need more innovation in that market; it has seen incremental innovation but lacks a disruptive one.
