I’ve been quietly following the Linda Mwananchi rally in Busia with Edwin Sifuna, Babu Owino, and James Orengo. (video below)

What I've seen was not excitement for cameras, but a return to principle.

Sifuna has spoken against high taxes and police brutality, and reminded Busia of the young lives harmed and lost during protests under this Ruto government. He did not exaggerate. He did not insult. He reminded.

That is leadership.

ODM was never meant to entertain power, but to confront it on behalf of the mwananchi.

This is the spirit Raila Odinga planted years ago, calm, firm, and on the side of the people.
