I think to be helpful requires much more nuance in behaviors that the backrooms would be expected to imprint and in natural selection. They die before a stragglers meets one

Because of this. The idea of being helpful is a bit difficult. What is helpful in the backrooms? Carrying you? Docility? Conversation?

I think Clark being told. Where he was mentally, is ok, was the first step of potentially many in actually properly reflecting on his behavior.

@MiaLaMelhor @BAteam1009 Absolutely! Its almost like Captain Clarks size is a reflection of that simmering threat of violence that Clark's abrasive persona always gives off. Just in a more physical reflection.

Clark built up walls in his mind. And they in tow gave mass to the abstract world.

@MiaLaMelhor @BAteam1009 My interpretation is that the captain encapsulates Clarks inability to deviate from his stuck persona. And because Clark up until Mary shows up again is basically stuck in that loop. The cap saw no difference between itself and Clark.l

Since Kaori was a utility body. Kenjaku didn't need to add binding vows for combat situations and therefore it healed naturally
