Hey there, I'm now at the point on here that I have a few followers and I realise I've been ever so rude and have never introduced myself properly.
So grab a cuppa and buckle up for my first ever intro thread... ❤️🔥🧵
Oh hi there, I'm Fran...

Also you lovely people, you can catch me on a TV show tomorrow night; 8 o'clock BBC One. Where me, Justin Rowlatt and the fab @MichAckerley investigate what decarbonising the flight industry will take and what is really means for us.
Ironically the ONLY callback from ms help that I got (after being promised 5 callbacks that never came), came through just as the issue got fixed. Thanks guys 😂
Yeeeeaahhh. After 4 days of trying, 22 attempted phone calls (by me), and tens of messages I am now back into my business 😁
If your ms Authenticator ever breaks, let me know and I can help you get help and keep sane.
Hey. Can any of you lovely people help? I've been trying to get through to @MicrosoftHelps '7 days a week' business support help since Friday. And their help pages are a special form of mental torture. Anyone know the secret of how to actually get any help from them?
@IckleAndy@MicrosoftHelps@MSFT365Status Thanks. My 'favourite' part is when trying to sign into Authenticator it asks for a code from... wait for it... itself(!!). I honestly think I may have leave microsoft after this, as their support has been so bad. I currently have zero access to ANY of my work files. 😒

@chrisburch@MicrosoftHelps Too true!! I wouldn't mind if their pages weren't circular. Oooor if their online help pages actually had helpful info in them. My problem is Authenticator is down. Which means my business is down. : (
(I'm lucky it's a bank holiday)
Next Saturday is a double #NineLessons show day! The evening show is sold out, but still a few tickets left for the special family matinee performance with Robin Ince, @Frans_facts, @HarryHill, @Bobby_Seagull and more! Tickets at https://t.co/Qybcu5WGVp
Is this a remake of the legendary “Bernard and the Genie”?
That BBC tv film is my favourite Christmas movie - I watch it every year (think it was only shown once on BBC2 way back in the 90s)
Woo hoo!
This is my favourite photo from last time I was doing this #NineLessons gig
This time I’ll have less fire but something just as curious 🤔
(thanks for the snap @hedgehoghugh)
Here's just some of the AMAZING bill for our #NineLessons Family Matinee on Dec 16th. Discount tickets for the curious youngsters in the family too! https://t.co/Qybcu5XeKX
Your recommendations needed: Anyone know of a rather wonderful restaurant in the #KingsCross#StPancras area of London that’ll cater for 12 people in a private dining room in early December and not make them eat Xmas dinner?
🤔
I have lots of after dinner talks coming up. Some black tie.
Is there a service where I can hire a dress/ suit that has pockets, no-one really cares about, is easy care (ie can be stuffed in a suitcase) but looks utterly great?
If not, can someone start one please.
@StarkeyStardust Admin 🤮
I just want to pay someone to send me options (app with pockets, obviously). I wear one and then send them all back a month later 😂
What are you doing on Thurs 16th?
Listening to the incredible Prof Athene Donald (@AtheneDonald) talk sense about women in STEM?
Thought so 😁
Tickets below…
Times have changed since women were barred from laboratories and unable to take science degrees. But have they changed enough for women in science?
Explore the factors that drive women to give up on a career in science.

AURORA ALERT!!!
BOOM!
Aurora activity extremely high with a good possibly of seeing the Northern Lights from most of the UK!
Look north and you your best to avoid bright lights
@AndyWildcats That was not the point of it. It was a side product. It would have increased capacity, reliability and frequency of trains. And not just those on the new lines.
There was lots of miscommunication about the project, including how it was funded.
What makes me so sad about HS2 getting cancelled is trains are baaaad in the UK atm (I’m a non car owner and traveling often by train)
Buuut I was telling myself that was merely temporary.
Now, the service we have today is the best we’ve EVER going to get. 🥴
