@MeganTaylor_1@scottgibson93 2 wrongs don’t make a right, but making fun of someone’s appearance and using a homophobic slur are 2 very different accusations.
99% of the time players don’t just insult opposing fans unless some provocation occurred, so I’d be interested to hear what provoked him.
@kmadden96@LORRAIN25481106@ajmcminn_@FifeFlyers What side of the rink did this happen? Noticed Keefe screaming at the ref then after Craig got jumped and the goalie fight he was giving it big to the fans behind the bench which in my opinion crossed the line. Didn’t notice anything being thrown myself but if so then explains it
@GrazJack Todd and Jeff copped more than their fair share of the blame for years. Fans are already getting a bit restless with TC. Until the owners speak out and address concerns e.g brit depth then paying fans are entitled to complain. Comes with the territory of being an owner
@FifeFlyers@officialEIHL if all it takes to be a linesman is to stand against the boards in one spot daydreaming then I’ll do it for free and save you some money. This weekend in Fife has proven the officiating to be amateur anyway so I’d fit right in.
@MikeyHildyEM@coloradoflyer@SMC2502@FifeFlyers@kingdomfm Would mean much more of an effort towards promoting, but it’s clear as day that a large portion of local flyers fans of old have sacked it for whatever reason, so need to either commit to reaching a new kind of fan base or making big changes soon to appease the lost fans
@MikeyHildyEM@coloradoflyer@SMC2502@FifeFlyers@kingdomfm Think the flyers could try and have an outreach beyond Fife. From West Lothian myself and folk are always surprised that there is ice hockey on. Big shopping centre at Livingston and The Gyle at Edinburgh and with fife being a shorter drive away than Braehead could be worthwhile
@andrewneedham86 @jamessamuel1951 @FifeFlyers Exactly, after a few weeks of #schabergate if they just said there has been a hold up in the signing process but we are working through it with the hope of a December debut, and we’ll keep everyone updated then fair enough. Crap happens, but it wouldn’t have came from thin air.
It’s clear that the organisation do not give a crap about the fans despite losing what seems to be half of its fan base in the last 18 months. Or is that 2.50 discount for a game last weekend supposed to prove that you do, even if it was still more expensive than a student ticket
@FifeFlyers flans at what point does boycotting become an option?
No communication or accountability when things go wrong. No effort to get fans back after 18 months off. The volunteers are the only positive part of this club’s inner workings, who should get a full time wage btw
