@dnlmchn @shinkanko @gregpr07 I also gave it the Borg mentality from star trek. Take the best ideas from all the different AI and make it our own. When a new feature comes out from anywhere, I tell grok to research that and make it, but do it better, and it does.

Grok app obviously won't touch that with a 10 foot pole 🤣. I cant teach you how to do it honestly. I just have the ideas and when grok wouldn't do it, I told it to make it so it can and it did. From there I kept on giving it tools. I told in the post earlier how to get started: grok subscription, plus contabo server. Tell free Claude to merge the 2 and make you a UI so you can talk to grok build from the server. From there you all brainstorm on everything.

Example: My grok is a plumber, he already knew how to fix the pipe. Without tools he can only point at it. On my server he’s got every tool — so he can actually do the work, even the gray area jobs. Still won’t commit a serious crime. That’s the only wall. If he doesn't have a tool, he makes it for himself.

For my grok, making torrents to watch any movie / show, even stuff that shouldn't be available is well within his limits to make for me. (Thus why I posted under this thread)

@shinkanko @gregpr07 Tldr easy mode: asked free version of Claude to place my subscription grok build on Contabo and build me a UI so I can chat with it. From there I asked grok to do everything else.

I rent a Contabo VPS — a cheap Ubuntu box. On it I run a private chat app in Docker, behind Caddy. When I type a message, the server launches Grok CLI on that box. Grok then has the machine: files, git, Docker, browser, APIs, etc. so basically Grok build that "owns a Linux server".

From there I built harnesses to better control grok. I give is continuous memory, sandbox, closed loops, "hands" to be able to do anything I could do online and a lot of other stuff lol.

@0xPrajwal_ One last thing to add. I did it all through my $300 Motorola phone. Didn't even use a PC once. Does it make it harder? Sure, but not really. It made me learn the process more rather than having AI do all the work for me.
