Canoe facts:
1. It's going the get scratched , run into rocks, scape along rocky river bottoms , scrape along boulders just under surface,sooo , the expensive wooden canoes are beautiful,....but ,.. you''ll be wincing with every bump & repair is ?

The canoe that I've been using for years has been a Coleman(12')... got it used,.. cause I'm cheap. We have put that through hell,.. It usually gets filled with our hunting /fishing gear and dragged to the water. Never had to repair it,..

if you buy a cheap canoe,... they are fun canoes,.. balance is at a premium,. known for being tippy. My 1st canoe was one & we named it "Tippy". People I lent it to ,..though warned,.. brought it back mentioning the balance concerns,. no repeat borrowers.😂
