As of now, the majority has voted to stay in Canada. 76.4% against 23.6%

I knew this would be a risk. That Albertans might reject separation for a faux semblance of unity.

Alberta was given a choice to make today; continue the status quo in a nation that hates its own past, or gain independence and create a new future.

The results are expected to come in soon. About six minutes. Though that's subject to change.
