My power is back after being out for almost 48 hours. Houston got down to 9 degrees F (-12 C) on Tuesday morning, and my home got down to 41 degrees (5 C). Houston is known as the Energy City. They need to re-think that shit. At one point, over 3M were without power! Ridiulous!

Look in the far left pane above my door. This is a female dove who has returned for the 3rd consecutive year to raise her young. She's been here about 2 weeks. I'm not sure if she has eggs or babies. She's a trooper. If she can hang on through tonight, she'll be okay!

Houston, TX at 14 degrees this morning. 4" of snow. Front yard and back yard. Never saw this in my life while living here. High of 19 degrees today. Low of 8 degrees tonight. Unprecedented!

This is unprecedented for Houston. We are expecting 4 to 6 inches of snow on Monday and temps as low as 6 degrees on Tuesday morning.
