Bam scored 83 points last night.
And it still doesn’t belong in the same conversation as Kobe’s 81.
Here’s why.
1) Numbers without context are meaningless. Process determines value.
2) It IS impressive to score 83 points in a basketball game. You must take shots, and they must go in the basket.
HOW you get the points, however, also matters.
3) Bam’s 83 ≠ nor greater than Kobe’s 81.
Kobe, as Kobe told the story, got pissed off because his team was losing. He caught fire and was scoring against intentional defense.
Kobe’s points were a byproduct of competition.
Bam’s points were the objective.
4) Bam / MIA was chasing Kobe for this manufactured Stats Slop.
Stats Slop = numbers created for narrative value rather than competitive necessity.
5) When a player scores this many points he is “on fire”, taking— and making— more shots than usual.
This applies only to the first half for Bam’s feat. After halftime, he was chasing stats.
Also —
6) Dwayne Wade recently stated that there’s no “buzz“ in the City of Miami for the team.
He was right.
Buzz is created through having 1. A contending team and 2. Box-office level players.
Nothing about last night changes the reality that the Heat have neither.
Buzz is like being famous. If you have to *argue* that there’s buzz, there’s no buzz.
7) What happened last night reflects what’s happening in society, not just basketball.
Storylines and outcomes clearly & intentionally manufactured. Surface-level people paid to make it seem like it matters arguing that it should be respected *just because it happened,* while tell us to not trust our lying eyes and ignoring the process that led to it.
We increasingly reward appearances instead of processes.

Bottom Line: If you respect the process, you understand the difference.
If you only respect the number, you won’t.
A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms till now 🔥

Repullze & Swagg started dying laughing after Gingy had the most INSANE response to his question:
Repullze: "is there just moss hanging on the floor & shit?.."😂
Gingy: "there's moss hanging from your mom's p*ssy.."💀

🚨BREAKING: #Ravens head coach John Harbaugh is the co-FAVORITE to be the next COACH FIRED, per @Polymarket.
Despite having 2x MVP Lamar Jackson, Harbaugh has struggled in the playoffs.
Baltimore fans have been calling for the team to fire Harbaugh for the last couple of years.
1-5 start
Injury prone season for our QB
Number 77
John Harbaugh
No pass rush

Henry fumbling issues
Zay fumbling issues
Zach Orr terrible defense first half of season
The 2025 season will go down as one of the most frustrating seasons ever
Derrick Henry scored a rushing touchdown with 12:50 left in the fourth quarter. The Ravens led 24-13.
HE NEVER TOUCHED THE BALL AGAIN AND THE RAVENS LOST!
John Harbaugh needs to be fired.
The NFL world is understandably dumbfounded by Baltimore's misusage of Derrick Henry last night:
Rodney Harrison: "That's the one guy the Patriots did not want to tackle. ... I absolutely, at times, hate the Ravens' offensive strategy. ... What are you saving him for? You saving him for next year?"
Tony Dungy: "If Steph Curry just hit six three-pointers in a row, you don't take him out and say 'oh, this is your time to rest now.' No. ... You've got a lead. You've got to protect the lead. ... It just did not make any sense to me."
2⃣2⃣'s last touch came at the 12:50 mark, when he punched one in to put his team up by two scores.

I started playing @tarkov in April of last year after thinking I would hate it. I've put in 5300+ hours since then(actually disgusting). This game actually reignited my love for streaming and it has become one of my favorite games of all time. This ending was perfect. Thanks so much @nikgeneburn and @bstategames. I truly love your game <3
