The Deandre Ayton trade further proves one of the least credited rules in the NBA: That every Lakers big man eventually has to play for the Wizards and vice versa.
Ayton, AD, Dwight, Markieff Morris, Wagner, JaVale, Thomas Bryant — the cycle will never end.
Knicks signing Andre Drummond, as @ShamsCharania reported, gives them not just their backup center but also someone who can approach the glass similarly to what they had before. Drummond remains one of the best offensive rebounders in the NBA.

@fastbreakonomik Kenny Atkinson is a coach of the year who said in a press conference only a few months ago that he considered Derrick White a top-5 player in the whole league. There are absolutely people who believe what Windy said

If there's one thing we already know about Mitchell Robinson and the Celtics, it's that Joe Mazzulla absolutely loves his game. Must imagine he's excited about this addition.
Free agent center Mitchell Robinson has agreed to a three-year, $47.4 million deal to sign with the Boston Celtics, with a player option in third season, sources tell ESPN. Robinson departs the Knicks after serving a key role on the historic championship team.
With the way free agency is playing out, Landry Shamet’s deal is looking better and better for the Knicks. A very reasonable number for a super valuable player.
Funky contracts all around the league now. Adding to @anthonyVslater’s report on Kristaps Porzingis contract details:
Porzingis is guaranteed for only $3M in 2026-27 and the Warriors have until July 7 to waive him. Extra flexibility for them.
