@AlexLucoMusic No, not completely. I look at the back,then look at the first page, followed by a quick scan of the last page. If the last page interests me then I skim through the last chapter. If someone recommends a fictional book for me that procedure follows.

#WritingCommunity WIP1 they all want to find love & family. WIP2 not wanting it at first. 2 MCs will find it in the end. WIP3 it's a balance or struggle between lust and love. love triangles. not to forget the forbidden romance. not sure this was the answer you expected though.

@Stacey_Dighton Yes, I do. But it depends on the genre. WIIP1 is historical romance obviously some romance scenes. WIP2 is a Western, more violent and possibly graphic scenes like rape. WIP3 is a psychological thriller graphic sex scenes and violence too.

@faultyharb I think there are different purposes for writing. Dream journals & dairies are mostly destressing. While writing with a deadline might be more stressing.
