FEPPS provides a rigorous college program to incarcerated women in Washington and creates pathways to higher education after women are released from prison.
Hi FEPPS family!
GiveBIG, Washington's annual giving event, is tomorrow and Wednesday, May 3-4! We have seen amazing support from our community on GiveBIG in past years and we are excited to participate and reach new people this year.

There is currently a facility-wide outbreak at WCCW. Most units are in quarantine and programming has stopped. We are postponing the start of our term until Feb., when we will re-evaluate depending on conditions in the prison. Our hearts are with our students and everyone at WCCW
We had so much fun working with one of our students, Dalonda, to get ready to start classes at Tacoma Community College this quarter. We explored campus, set up her computer and met up with TCC & FEPPS English Professor Blaine Hunt. Thanks to everyone at TCC for your support!
WCCW Librarian Ken McDouall has always been a huge supporter of FEPPS, and right now he is partnering with a local book store to raise funds to purchase new books for the WCCW library. Take a look at this article and help out if you can!

Students Alyssa and Felicia, and Faculty Director Tanya had an awesome time at the National Conference on Higher Education in Prison in Denver. Alyssa and Felicia have both participated in NCHEP remotely in past years; it was so special for them to be able to attend in person!
Today we are saying goodbye to Morgan Denton, our Education Pathways Program Manager. She has helped many students navigate college options and applications, access financial aid, and get loans out of default. We will miss Morgan’s wisdom, authenticity, and astrological readings!
BECU members!! BECU is currently accepting nominations for the People Helping People Award. We were so honored to receive this award two years ago, and we are eligible again this year. If you are a BECU member we would greatly appreciate your nomination.
