@sewistwrites@sophia__says Sure, they might have done these things with their time, but the time comes from someplace. A lot us gen x kids never spent much (if any) time with our parents.
It comes down to priorities. Now we can choose convenience and have a relationship with our kids. No shame in that.
@AMJalsevac I have experienced miscarriage as well as birthed two children. That experience absolutely made me more pro-choice. No one should be forced to go through something that extreme for an unwanted child. Maybe pro-forced birthers should talk to unwanted children.
@lucystone1871@FastCompany You realize there are women who do not menstruate right? There are women who are past menopause. There are women who have had reproductive problems. No all women menstruate.
@DGComedy I actually think they didn't forget. I don't think he wants to win, he just wants to create an outrage farm and reasons to blame. He wants to be a coup leader.
@njmeyers15 @slow_down_Jess @kevinmyoung @RyanKHere The women were sinful? What about the polygamist men? The majority of the marriages are hardly a step above slavery for the women and are polygamist. Pretty much the only examples of one man/one woman are Adam & Eve, an equal partnership & Mary & Joseph, unwed at Jesus birth.
@RyanKHere @slow_down_Jess @kevinmyoung The Bible shows that these people, outside of a "traditional" marriage are worthy of being a part of the lineage of Jesus.
@slow_down_Jess @kevinmyoung @RyanKHere There are a few women mentioned in the genealogy of Jesus. (Unusual in it's own right) I would argue that's at least some type of approval. Tamar, Rahab, & Ruth. Tamar tricked her father-in-law into getting her pregnant. Rahab had been a sex worker. Ruth was in a second marriage.
@sheri_parrish@greg_scott84@ferirahimi100@MelissaLMRogers I have also worked with a housing initiative for people experiencing homelessness. It doesn't have to be either or.
But in my experience people don't care about vets or homelessness. It's a straw man argument.
When it comes to action they don't care what happens to them either.
@greg_scott84@ferirahimi100@MelissaLMRogers@sheri_parrish I have worked with a refugee housing initiative and you wouldn't imagine the things most of them have been through. But sure, see a clip of video that doesn't show a full story and decide who doesn't belong here.
@greg_scott84@ferirahimi100@MelissaLMRogers@sheri_parrish You have zero idea of how the immigration and refugee process works at all. Everyone does not just "get in". It's very involved, incredibly difficult, breaking any laws will definitely get them deported. I bet you've never spoken to a refugee or a recent immigrant in your life.
