I’m not joking when I say that Eagles OC Sean Mannion has provided more insight in his opening press conference than Kevin Patullo ever did.
It’s obvious that he has key influences, principles and is ready for this opportunity.
Makai Lemon + Eli Stowers >>> Kenyon Sadiq + Omar Cooper Jr. even if they cost the same in the NFL Draft... and they did not. It's not a mystery how good franchises stay good and poor franchises stay down.
RD 1 | PK #20 - Eagles: Makai Lemon WR, USC
Lemon earned the 3rd-highest production score (91) among WRs over the last five draft classes. He'll provide an immediate lift for Jalen Hurts, who averaged the 5th-lowest YPA (6.7) targeting the slot in 2025.
@Eagles | @uscfb
In the best case scenario, Trump struck a deal to reopen a Strait that was open before the pointless war he started, with the IRGC demonstrating its control over the Strait and potentially extracting fees plus sanctions relief. Thousands of innocents - including hundreds of children - dead in Lebanon and Iran for no reason. U.S. troops killed and wounded. U.S. embassies and bases in the Middle East badly damaged. U.S. standing in the world obliterated. U.S. munitions badly depleted. Hundreds of billions spent. Prices up everywhere. More global economic fallout to come. Putin strengthened and enriched. Just a catastrophic situation even in the best of circumstances. A profoundly shameful episode in American history no matter what happens next.
over the last four drafts, the Eagles made 12 selections in the top 3 rounds
10 of 12 picks were on defensive players
the salary pendulum swung to the offense, so the draft pick pendulum went to the defense
those will swap sides soon
Let me explain what just happened 👇
5 minutes before the President announced a halt to attacks on Iran… someone placed a $1.5 BILLION bet on stocks going up and dumped $192 million in oil.
5 minutes…
These trades were 4 to 6 times larger than anything else in the entire market. Whoever did this wasn’t guessing. You don’t risk $1.5 billion on a hunch.
There was zero public indication this announcement was coming. No leaks. No press. Nothing. The only people who knew were in the room when the decision was made.
Someone in that room picked up a phone.
And within minutes they made more money than most Americans will earn in a thousand lifetimes. In a single trade. On a war that cost you $4+ a gallon gas and $16 billion in tax dollars.
American citizens funded this war. Politicians are profiting from it.
This is not the first time. Every major announcement from this administration has had massive suspicious trades right before it dropped. Tariff reversals. Policy shifts. War decisions.
This is the most blatant insider trading operation in the history of American politics. It’s not even close. And it’s happening over and over in broad daylight.
You would go to federal prison for trading on a tip from your cousin. These people are front running war decisions with billion dollar bets and nobody will ever ask a single question.
Nobody will be investigated. Nobody will be charged. By tomorrow this will be buried under the next satisfying headline. Just like last time. And the time before that.
The game is rigged. And they’re not even trying to hide it anymore…
With a week to reflect, I’m convinced this was the greatest moment in sports history.
A 2-star recruit leads the worst program ever to a national championship, beats his hometown team that wouldn’t let him walk on, and finishes it by running over the same guy who knocked him out the year before, with his mother battling MS watching from the stands.
If it was a Disney movie, you’d say it was too much.
Remarkable: Border Patrol officers commit crimes at a higher rate than undocumented immigrants do.

Call me a hater but these were the two worst teams playing for a Super Bowl berth that I can remember. It’s not as bad in the NFC but even so, neither are juggernauts.
Eagles really blew the most wide open season ever to repeat as champs despite the most talented roster. Tough.
I love how we still don’t actually know if the Seattle Seahawks offense is good, or if they were just first on the scene with a major efficiency hack it took the rest of the league 10 weeks to pick up on
Seattle Seahawks in 12/21 personnel
@FantasyPtsData
vs. Base Defense
passing: 14.3 YPA, 136.1 passer rating, 13.2 ANY/A
rushing: 4.3 YPC, 51.2% success rate
vs. Sub Defense
passing: 6.1 YPA, 80.6 passer rating, 4.0 ANY/A
rushing: 6.2 YPC, 66.7% success rate
When Seattle throws against a defense playing the run, Sam Darnold turns into the greatest QB of all-time. (13.2 ANY/A is +35% better than the best season in NFL history.) When he passes against a defense playing the pass, he ranks tied with Cam Ward for worst in the league.
Greg Olsen had been saying that defenses were literally just being stupid. They were playing the run against Seattle just because it was a run-type look (heavy personnel). When they should have just been playing the down and distance. That's what the Rams did last week, and Darnold had his worst game since the mono days.
