The Cymatics Rig acoustic base is finally complete.

It was a tight "2mm battle" with only 1mm clearance left on each side of the board. I almost compromised, but my instinct rejected it, making me sprint to the store for a new drill bit.

Every trial of its creation is now archived.

サイマティクス・リグのベース組立て。ドリル刃がダメになり一度はネジ頭剥き出しで組むも、夜中に美意識が拒絶。「うーんやっぱりダボだな！」と翌朝ホムセンへ全力疾走。

数ミリはみ出させた防振ゴムの段差に合わせ、十字に敷き詰めるスポンジのフチだけをカッターで一枚ずつ薄くスライスして気密性を追い込む変態的ディテール（笑）。

天板の13mmオニメナット仕込みは15mm厚に対して左右の肉厚残り1mmの「2mmの攻防」。

案の定パキッと一箇所割れたけど「まぁ別にいいかw」とそのまま突き進みます。

Assembling the Cymatics Rig base. Dull drill bit forced me to leave screw heads exposed once, but my instinct rejected it, making me sprint to the hardware store the next morning!

To match the pre-loaded rubber steps, I manually sliced the edges of each sponge cube thinner with a cutter for ultimate airtightness—pure obsessive detail (lol).

Installing 13mm insert nuts into the 15mm board meant a tight "2mm battle" with only 1mm clearance left on each side.

One corner cracked under pressure, but I just thought "Well, whatever. It's fine w" and kept pushing.

「音楽は耳で聴くだけでなく、細胞で感じるものだ」私がfreesscapeの音作りにおいて、そして名曲（自分で言いますw）『Finding My Zero』の純正律設計において信じてきたこの仮説を、私は今、物理的に証明しようとしています。

人間の身体の約60%は水分です。ならば、特定の周波数が私たちの細胞を整えるとき、水面には一体どんな「幾何学（模様）」が現れるのか。それを見たくて、私はスタジオにオリジナルの「水のサイマティクス実験装置」を１から自作することにしました。

その狂気的なまでのこだわりと、失敗を乗り越えた「音の解体・可視化」を記録します。

さっき、ボーッとしてたら気づいたんだよね。

東京の時計ってさ、太陽の動きに対して「約19分遅れてる」ってこと。

地球が西から東へ回っているせいで、東にある東京は兵庫県明石市より先に朝を迎えて、太陽がマッハで動いてる。東京の太陽がテッペンにきた時、時計はまだ11時41分。

太陽のスピードに時計が追いついてないの、ヤバくないですか？笑

Was zoning out and noticed something cool about Tokyo’s time.

Our clocks are running 19 minutes behind the sun's actual movement. Because of Earth's rotation, Tokyo greets the day before Akashi. When the Tokyo sun is at its highest, the clock is still stuck at 11:41 AM.

Love the idea that we are living 19 minutes ahead of time.

心と心を結ぶ、一種の「テレパシー」のようなもの。

日本には、言葉の力で植物をも元気にする「言霊」という概念があります。

吸音材の中で音が残したかすかな温もりは、役目を終えた言霊が、世界をほんの少しだけ温めようとした愛の証。

A beautiful, bittersweet transformation happens behind the silence of a room.

As sound waves enter a soundproof material, they get lost in a labyrinth of tiny fibers. Each tiny collision creates friction, converting the vibration 100% into heat.

Yet, the physics of it is surprisingly delicate. Even if a human screamed all night long, that accumulated heat wouldn't be enough to warm a single cup of coffee.

That’s why I believe the essence of sound is not about the scale of its physical energy.

Sound is about how much love we carry on invisible air molecules to pass along to someone else. It is a form of telepathy that connects heart to heart.

In Japan, there is a beautiful concept called "Kotodama" —the belief that a divine spirit and energy reside within our words. Just as plants grow vibrant and healthy when spoken to with kindness, the vibration of our intentions truly shapes the world around us.

The faint, imperceptible warmth left behind by sound inside the fibers is the final trace of Kotodama—spending all its tiny existence just to warm the world a little bit.

「残骸の中から喜びを救い出し、嵐に乗り、雪崩にも埋もれず、最後に音楽が育つ場所に錨を下ろす。」

In 2011, while this album was being pressed, the Great East Japan Earthquake struck.

I spent some time rediscovering the lyrics of *Now is the point at which I Touch Eternity* — with a little help from Emi.

Salvaging joy from the wreckage, riding the storm, refusing to be buried —
and finally, casting an anchor where music grows.

And somewhere inside, a secret no one has noticed.

きっと一生懸命、頑張って手書きで書いてくれたであろう日本語の手紙も添えられていました。😭

彼が日本各地を旅しながら、freesscapeの曲を聴いて描いてくれたというキャンバス。
配送トラブル（行方不明）で届くまでに1ヶ月半かかってしまいましたが、彼の手書きの言葉を読んで涙が出るほど感動しました。私たちの音楽がこんなにも美しい形で誰かと繋がれたことを、とても光栄に思い、感謝しています。心から、ありがとう。

A student from the US who was studying abroad in Japan recently sent me an incredible package. He told me that our music had a huge impact on his life.

Along with the package, he enclosed a letter written in Japanese, which he clearly worked so hard to write by hand.

While traveling around Japan, he painted these canvases while listening to freesscape songs.

Due to a shipping delay, it took a month and a half to reach me, but reading his handwritten words moved me to tears. I am so honored and grateful that our music could connect with someone in such a beautiful way. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
