@FreeCyclists Notes for context: The DailyFail HATES cyclists and rarely misses the opportunity to have a dig. Cycling without a helmet is not illegal in the UK. Whilst it is illegal to ride on the pavement, there is official tolerance of it (the former Home Secretary wrote to Police).

I'm heading to Adelaide this Saturday to take part in my 5th 'Stop fining healthy transport' protest ride.
I'll keep doing it as long as Australia's authorities keep fining bicycle riders for not wearing a helmet.
