@REIMakayla Section 8 unfortunately comes with not always the best tenants. I owned a property management company for years and just be careful who you choose. Many of those tenants destroy the property or start making meth resulting in your house being condemned.

@jeremyct I'm in the same situation, 2.75%. I don't have a need or a want to move, though, but understand the trap. He can always rent it out for that $3100 a month. Save some for tenant repairs and pocket the rest as passive income to help pay the mortgage of his next purchase.
