@bencodec@Ableton@AbletonDev Thanks, I found the problem. Atom SQ sends notes on MIDI channel 1 but sends poly aftertouch messages on channel 10. Ableton ignores poly aftertouch messages from other channels, even with "All Channels" selected. I'm not sure who's wrong here, @AbletonDev or @PreSonus or both.
@Ableton@AbletonDev why doesn't Ableton Live support "Polyphonic Key Pressure (aftertouch)"? It's in the MIDI 1.0 spec. MPE is not the answer, you are missing part of the MIDI 1.0 spec. My controller (Atom SQ) & many others send Poly Pressure, not MPE.
@insomaniac MOTU 828 mk3 FireWire with a pair of Alesis Ai3's on both ADAT ports for an extra 16 channels of analog I/O. It's totally overkill but I use the extra channels as send/returns to hardware FX (Ensoniq DP/4+, guitar pedals, synth filters, etc) & that's a lot of fun.
@numb_channels Last paragraph here implies shipping a 3rd party plugin isn't covered by standard license.

You'd probably have to arrange a licensing agreement with the plugin dev. Or build your own, or fork an open source one & follow it's license terms. ๐ค
@markkilborn Wow I just got this for $40

I struggled to choose between this & the Lindell 80 for that 70's vibe, but the Focusrite seems more useful. Coupon code for ANY plugin is on the website!
@markkilborn I'm very tempted to pull the trigger on a bunch of Melda plugins as well. MDrumReplacer is 78% off & looks awesome. I am definitely going to buy MRhythmizerMB, probably MAutoDynamicEQ as well.
