We are excited to share that Masai giraffe, Siku, gave birth to a female calf on 8/18. They are currently behind the scenes bonding. This calf comes at a bittersweet time for the Zoo with Fenny's recent passing. The birth of his daughter is a bright spot for Zoo staff and guests.

Our Fourth of July duo finally have names! 🎆 🎇

Meet Indy & Jubilee! These little firecrackers are named after the holiday they were born on. The female cub is named Jubilee, meaning a special anniversary or celebration. The male cub's name, Indy, is short for independence.
