Tucker Carlson presses journalist Ken Silva on one question: Why would Trump “shut down the investigation into his own attempted murder”?

So he shut down the investigation into his own attempted murder. And I think that’s the most shocking fact to come out of this Trump term because I don’t see a non-sinister explanation for that. SILVA: “Sometimes I wonder, did they stumble onto some sort of MKUltra program? Are they threatening Trump’s family? … You’re suggesting something more disturbing going on.”

TUCKER: “Trust me, I’ve brought this to a lot of different people, very knowledgeable people. And I’ve never had one person say, ‘Well, actually, what you’re missing is this… There’s a good explanation.’ And you just wrote a book on it. You don’t see one either?”

During an interview with “Those AshHoles,” Indiana Secretary of State candidate @MaxForIndiana talked his time with the U.S. House Chief Elections Committee and the priorities he saw in Congress under Speaker Nancy Pelosi.

Engling said that when Democrats took control of the House, their focus was NOT on priorities like tax reform or economic legislation, but instead on advancing major elections legislation such as H.R. 1.

Max described it as an effort to expand federal oversight of how elections are run.

He said much of his work centered on navigating those policy debates, working with election attorneys, and helping prepare for contested races, while emphasizing his view that election administration should remain primarily under state control.

So… we’re expected to believe that in California, out of three candidates, the third place candidate, who conceded her campaign because she was mathematically eliminated from the run-off, suddenly received tens of thousands of votes from mail-in votes which all came in *after* Election Day, while the other two candidates received no late mail-in votes, and the second place candidate (who was surging as a Republican candidate in the bluest state in the country) is now in third place and mathematically eliminated from the run-off.

… and we’re supposed to trust that this is an honest and true election.

NEW — A former deputy fire chief in Morgan County and another woman are facing child several sex crime charges.

Charlie Heflin is charged with 55 felonies, including child exploitation, possession of child sex abuse material and voyeurism.

A redacted probable cause affidavit is not yet available, so we don’t know the nature of the charges, just that Heflin allegedly possessed child sex abuse material of victims younger than 12.

The charging information lists at least 10 victims related to the voyeurism charges.

The charges are dated as early as December 2021.

Angela VanMature is charged with five counts of conspiracy to commit child exploitation and conspiracy to commit voyeurism.

Additionally, as police went to serve a search warrant at Heflin’s home last week, he allegedly grabbed a .45-caliber handgun from the porch, resisted commands, fought officers for control of the weapon and allegedly said he was “not going to jail” and asked for “one round.”

Heflin faces felony charges of resisting law enforcement on that case.

Both Heflin and VanMature had initial hearings in court today.

Heflin is being held on no bond. VanMature was given $10,000 property/surety + $600 cash.

Heflin was a former deputy chief with the Gregg Township Fire Department, according to the department.
