Yesterday was our last day in Paris, so we made the most of it! Palace of Versailles, Eiffel Tower, our fancy dinner at La Coupole and boat cruise on the Seine river!
Today we spent the morning seeing the famous department store Galleries Lafayette, but the afternoon was spent at the Louvre museum with a fabulous guided tour!
Yesterday we left Saint-Quentin (and a sad goodbye to our new friends) and made it to Paris! We loved seeing Sainte Chappelle, the major monuments during our bus tour of the city and Arc de Triomphe !
Yesterday, we got to see two French castles, Blérancourt (home to the museum of French-American friendship) and Compiègne (the Imperial Palace of Napoléon I & Napoléon III)
Sounded like the students had fantastic plans for the weekend with their families, but the TEACHERS got to go visit the city of Reims, have some fabulous dessert and see the gorgeous cathedral.
Today we had a tour of the city of Saint-Quentin and saw lots of local places of interest, also learned a lot about the history of the Middle Ages as well as the architectural style of Art Déco.
