Before I get into the booth for a book, I've read the entire thing, taken notes on the characters, pronunciations, other questions I need to ask the author. I've also cleared character voices, pronunciations, and gotten answers to those questions. #audiobook

I have a growing list of #narrators that I love. Natalie Naudus was my first love. Lucy Rivers in Butcher and Blackbird was PERFECTION. Samantha Brentmore and Eric Nolan in Leather & Lark *chefs kiss*. Skysong with Nicky Diss I listened to with my daughter and was INCREDIBLE.

There are SO MANY different types of mics, and pre-amps, and software out there for narrating. I Googled everything early on and found something within my budget. I then took all the money I earned and upgraded FAST. #voiceactor #microphone

I thought I would be SO SMART and try the Kindle talk to text on my phone to get through a book (which does not have an audiobook currently). It didn't take me long before I went back to the other book I was listening to. Why is the kindle AI voice SO BAD? #books
