Do people like this truly not understand that a high percentage of artists are poverty stricken and often pursue art as a means to cope? This is such a weak argument.

Generating an image does not make you an artist. Nothing is gatekeeping you from becoming one. JUST DO THE WORK.

for every artist you respect who is 'anti-NFT' or 'anti-AI' there are a thousand people who can't be an artist because they weren't born in the right body, right place, or right family to pursue art and never given the tools, time, or support to believe in their own dreams

IMO it's worth a few insufferable tech bros if it means millions of everyday people are gifted the capability to do what they previously thought was impossible, to actualize what would have stayed a dream, and I think that's the most human thing we can do for each other

taking a stand against something is the easiest way to forfeit your ability to shape it into something better
