I only got into watching women's football last year and am shocked by how many top players have ruptured their ACLs in the last year. 3 top Arsenal players out within 6 months!

On this rotation I have given myself the nickname Zimmer Frame Girl because there was a time when I felt like I was always carrying a frame to my car (whilst also lugging a laptop bag and rucksack, not ideal!)
Tried from the passenger side - no luck
So then I had to awkwardly climb through from the drivers side, seat all the way back, man handle the leggy frame through the narrow door gap and lift it over my car to get it out! And also lug the caddy and clinical bag on 2 separate trips
Really exciting to see that burnout in physiotherapists is being studied more! Having done my dissertation looking at it, it terrified me once I started working. Glad I'm not feeling burnt out (at the moment!) but can see how it's so easy to take too much on
YouMatter Session 24 - Studying Perfectionism and Burnout In Physiotherapists with Daniel Biggs

Any work trainer recommendations? There's so many out there but want some that will be comfortable for spending the whole day on your feet (and currently community based so would like at least waterproofed toes 😉)
@thefemalephysio Getting tricky in community as well - can't keep patients on for higher level goals and outdoor mobility because of redeployment of senior staff 🫤
Sometimes it feels like the phrase "you'll just know" gets thrown around a lot in the qualified physio world, and as a student this felt so daunting - how would I ever hold all this knowledge?!
Today I found out that a patient (who I'd suspected had more systemic problems going on) has metastatic cancer without a prior cancer diagnosis... And somehow I did "just know"
It's obviously not an outcome I wanted but I'm proud that I could advocate for my patient's needs
Are you a HCPC registered physiotherapist with a speciality of MSK, rheumatology or are an Ehlers Danlos syndrome specialist physiotherapist? Do you have experience in treating patients with Ehlers Danlos syndrome? I am a third-year @UoW_Physio student undertaking a research
@FreyaPhysio collecting the "Fable award" , awarded to the student who goes above and beyond, just like #GuideDog did. Thank you @UoW_Physio students for creating this award to honour Fabes, she would be very proud @GuideDogsSW
Handed my final assignment EVER in yesterday 😬
Not really sure what to do with myself but today it's time for some guiltless stitching and catching up on #tinydesignchallenge
And on the right was my creation from my last placement (a neuro one if you didn't guess 😉)
Another video podcast with #ClincialAcademic at PHU we were joined by the fabulous MDT team from our Lotus ward @smjackson9@FreyaPhysio & others. We discussed an article on #stroke & barriers to activity in hospital outside of therapy sessions
